My Story

After 13 years in the Navy and a move to Rotorua, Bootiful Fitness was born to fill a gap: group exercise classes where mums could bring their babies.

Over the past 10 years, we’ve built a great reputation to become Rotorua’s trusted fitness hub for women, specialising in pregnancy, postnatal recovery, and menopause. My approach combines expert knowledge, continuous learning, and a welcoming, judgment-free space.

I've worked with a diverse range of people, including pregnant and postnatal women, those with special needs, athletes, runners, mountain bikers, farmers, the elderly, people recovering from injury or surgery, pre surgery, breast cancer warriors, and even men and those who identify with being neurodiverse like myself and a great option for those that feel overwhelmed or over stimulated about stepping into a gym. Whoever you are, we’re here to help you move, grow, and thrive.

At Bootiful Fitness, my mission is to empower women through every stage of life by providing safe, effective, and enjoyable fitness solutions for every budget. I am dedicated to improving strength, confidence, and knowledge in a supportive, judgment-free environment, helping women move better, feel stronger, and live their best lives.

About Me

Kia ora, I’m Kirsty!

I’m a Personal Trainer in Rotorua, working from my private studio in Springfield. With over 10 years of experience and multiple qualifications, I specialize in women’s health and fitness through all life stages.

I’m all about helping you move, feel better, and achieve your goals in a fun, balanced, and judgment-free space. Exercise should fit your lifestyle—not the other way around, I believe exercise fads will come and go, but things that have always worked is doing the exercise that you prefer, and then strengthening or improving fitness to make life a bit easier.

As a mum of two and a former Royal New Zealand Navy Sailor, I know the value of staying strong for both body and mind.

Let’s work together to build your strength, fix your sore bits, gain confidence, and happiness!, and have a cheeky laugh at the same time. P.S. I have the mouth of a Sailor so if you can handle that, we will have a good working relationship.
